From Service to Senate: Fighting to Have District 31’s Voice Heard

I’m Brent Mulrooney, and I’m running to represent Maryland’s District 31 in the State Senate. I’ve dedicated my career to strengthening our national security and supporting the men and women who serve our country. I continued that mission by joining the Air Force Reserve as a Cyber Warfare Operator, a role I’m honored to hold to this day. Now, I’m ready to serve our community in a new way — as your State Senator. I believe elected officials have a duty to listen to the people they represent and to take action that truly serves everyone.
Key Issues
01
Rising Electricity Costs
We need to work on lowering the costs of electricity for all Marylanders. The consistently rising costs for electricity can and should be avoided!
02
Education
Ensuring a strong public education and foundation to foster learning is paramount to the success of the state. We must invest in our education and be innovative to enable our next generation to be the leaders in the future industry.
03
Consumer Protections
We will work on protecting consumers from predatory lenders and enabling the growth of business. Proper lending principles and practices are the best way to lift our society up and let all people have a chance to succeed.
04
Healthcare
Healthcare needs to be available and affordable for all people to have a thriving community. Now is the time to change our stance on healthcare to provide affordable care for everyone!
05
Integrity
Democracy is a key tenet of this great American experiment. A true democracy requires integrity and honesty from leaders. I am here to be that leader for Maryland.
06
Infrastructure
It is the duty of the elected leaders to ensure facilities and roads are continuously maintained to support the needs of the community and ensure proper planning to keep traffic issues to a minimum.
